Chris McClean
1-250-881-0 826Chris McClean serves as one of the principal owners of CapitolGIS located in Victoria, BC. He holds an Advanced Diploma in GIS Application (Vancouver Island University, 2013) and a BA in Computer Science and Sociology (University of Victoria, 2005). His responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining municipal infrastructure geodatabases as well as updating the CapitolGIS and MunicipalInfrastructure websites. He specializes in the management of municipal infrastructure, in which he applies his fieldwork experience as an Engineering Assistant for the Municipality of Oak Bay to spot inconsistencies that may appear in the data when working within ESRI ArcMap or any GIS software. He brings his deep knowledge about data collection to his current project with West Shore Environmental Services, where he is responsible for data conversions (CAD to GIS), making maps and data sharing with the CRD.
